Updates

Milestones, not press releases

Biocenza is pre launch. Rather than manufacture news, this page tracks real milestones as they happen.

Founding

Farm visits across Nonsan and Daejeon

The founding team spent a season visiting greenhouse farms, talking directly with growers about how they monitor crops, fertilize, and decide when to harvest.

Prototype

Robotic harvesting prototype build underway

Two working prototype units are being built on a $7,000 budget using Raspberry Pi 5 compute, an AI HAT accelerator, and a six axis arm, one for demonstration and one for continued development.

Prior work

AI powered humanoid robot demonstrated

Before Biocenza, the team built and demonstrated an AI powered humanoid robot together, proof they have already put AI models onto real hardware and made it work.

Version 1

Pilot deployments planned

The current raise is scoped to install the scanning platform in a small number of working Korean greenhouses and harden the harvesting prototype for field conditions.

Version 1

Patent filing planned

A formal patent filing and freedom to operate review is planned for the integrated detection and harvesting system, before commercial deployment.

Version 2 & 3

Dairy and aquaculture on the roadmap

The same monitoring architecture is designed to extend to dairy herd health in Year 2 and aquaculture in Year 3, closing the circular resource loop.

Ongoing commitments

Maintaining Biocenza is a continuous commitment, not a one time build

Website & app

The core software platform is maintained by a dedicated engineering team with regular updates and security patches as the product expands from Version 1 to Version 3.

Customer service

Dedicated account support and farmer training continues for the life of each installation, not just at setup.

Promotion

Ongoing presence at agricultural technology trade shows, continued partnership with cooperatives such as NongHyup, and digital marketing aimed at Korea's greenhouse farming community.
